This pre-license education course is approved by the DPOR. This course will help you to meet the requirements to become a licensed home inspector. The course includes 35 contact hours and a free 1 month membership to InterNACHI for first time members. The InterNACHI membership will allow you to complete the additional 35 hours of required education online if you choose. By taking this class and completing the additional 35 hours online, you will reduce the number of your required supervised inspections from 50-25.
This course emphasizes the need for and the requirements of Home Inspectors, the ethics of the industry , procedures for inspections, the set up and operation of the inspection business, and an introduction to report writing. Also included is an introduction to the National Home Inspector Examination.
